Schools – Whole School SEND Review

Whole school SEND review

A huge challenge facing schools is how to provide outstanding SEND provision and to ensure a broad and balanced curriculum and an inclusive education. I offer a whole school review of SEND with tailored advice and recommendations.

A one or two-day visit (depending on setting size) to your school focusing on:

  • A thorough audit of SEND and identifying priorities for SEND to inform school improvement and whole school development.
  • Supporting headteachers, leadership teams and SENCOs to ensure Ofsted readinesss.
  • Lesson observations, learning walks, pupil voice, parent views.
  • How to implement and embed whole school change and ensure provision mapping is effective.
  • How to create a supportive and inclusive environment for learners with SEND.
  • Improving staff knowledge and the quality of CPD for teaching assistants, teachers and senior leaders including (but not exclusively) adaptive teaching and the graduated response to SEND.
  • Addressing current areas for development to promote high levels of inclusivity.
  • Supporting Governing bodies and trustees with compliance and responsibilities through training and mentoring.

“Delyth helped us prepare for our recent OFSTED Inspection – for which we were graded Outstanding in every area, including for SEND!

Delyth has been instrumental in helping us to move forward with our SEND provision at KGGS. The whole school audit she carried out enabled us to understand our strengths and areas to develop in SEND.
